Periodicals

    Anglican and Episcopal History (formerly The Historical Magazine of the Protestant Episcopal Church, until 1987), a quarterly journal. Recent issues are shelved in Current Periodicals on the Lower Level; back copies are in Bound Periodicals, shelved separately under both the current and the former title. Articles on specific topics can be found by using the ATLA Religion Database database;  the yearly index in each volume of the journal itself;  or the cumulative indexes in vols. 23, 33, 43, 53, and 63.

Current Events

    The General Convention  Includes a link to the website of the 2003 General Convention. The "Publications" link provides access to the Summary of Actions for that Convention, as well as the Constitution and Canons of the 2000 General Convention and other Convention documents.

    Digital Archives of the Episcopal Church  Includes Acts of Convention, 1976-2000, and other important church documents and news from recent years. 

    Episcopal News Service  Includes news bulletins and feature stories. 

    Anglican Communion News Service  Search the Archives for articles back to 1995.

    Episcopal Life  National monthly newspaper of the Episcopal Church. The latest year of the print edition is available in the Library atrium.

    Episcopal Times Official news publication of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts. The latest year of the print edition is available in the Library atrium.

    The Witness Critical analysis of Anglican and Episcopal events and topics. Click on 'Back Print Issues' for an archive of articles since 2000. The print edition (which ceased after the July/August 2003 issue) is available in the Periodical stacks on the lower level.
